The Central Wisconsin Impact competed this past weekend at the GameDay USA Wisconsin State Championships and came away with their second state championship in as many years.

In Game One the Central Wisconsin Impact 12U uses big second inning to beat Reedsburg, 8-0

Central Wisconsin Impact 12U beat Reedsburg 8-0 in five innings on Saturday at Niesha field four after a five-run explosion in the second inning.

Central Wisconsin Impact 12U scored in the second on a two-run double by Trey Zagrzebski, an RBI single by Isaac Cychosz, an error, and a groundout by Brock Warren.

Isaac racked up two RBIs on three hits for Central Wisconsin Impact 12U.

Logan Schulfer's 10 strikeouts helped Central Wisconsin Impact 12U to the victory. Central Wisconsin Impact 12U's pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only two hits.

The lead stayed with Central Wisconsin Impact 12U after the first, when it scored two runs on an RBI double by Isaac and an RBI single by Logan.

Logan was awarded the game MVP.

In Game Two the Central Wisconsin Impact 12U survives Oswego Cobras rally, escapes with 6-4 victory

Oswego Cobras was never able to get over the hump and get over its troubles against Central Wisconsin Impact 12U on Saturday, as Oswego Cobras fell 6-4 at Neisha field four after falling behind by three runs in the fifth inning.

Oswego Cobras scored one run in the sixth on an RBI double by Hansen. Despite its efforts, Oswego Cobras couldn't get over the hump.

Logan Schulfer had two extra-base hits for Central Wisconsin Impact 12U. He doubled in the first and third innings.

Tanner Schude got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed three runs over three innings. Tanner struck out four, walked two and gave up four hits.

Central Wisconsin Impact 12U's Trey Zagrzebski, Logan Schulfer and Nathan Konkol combined for five hits and six RBIs.

Oswego Cobras jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Oswego Cobras caught fire after Pradel singled. Then Miller tripled, bringing home Caruso. Oswego Cobras added more runs when Miller scored on a sacrifice fly by Hansen.

Oswego Cobras brought home one run in the third inning, and matched that run total in the sixth. In the third,

Central Wisconsin Impact 12U never trailed after scoring five runs in the third on two doubles and an RBI single by Trey.

Nathan Konol was awarded the Game MVP.

In the Semi-Final Game, Central Wisconsin Impact 12U jumps on Reedsburg early and coasts to 11-1 win

Central Wisconsin Impact 12U jumped out to an early lead on Reedsburg and captured an 11-1 victory on Sunday.

With eight runs in the first three innings, Central Wisconsin Impact 12U left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run single by Brock Warren and a two-run double by Jared Mountin during the first inning and a groundout by Tanner Schude, an RBI single by Isaac Cychosz, and a walk by Logan Schulfer in the second inning supplied the early offense for Central Wisconsin Impact 12U.

Brock racked up two RBIs on two hits for Central Wisconsin Impact 12U.

Tyler Beyer got the win for Central Wisconsin Impact 12U. He allowed one run over four innings. Tyler struck out four, walked none and gave up four hits.

It didn't take long for Central Wisconsin Impact 12U to respond as it scored one run of its own in the third.

Central Wisconsin Impact 12U added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth. The inning got off to a hot start when Nathan Konkol doubled, bringing home Carson Guck. That was followed up by Isaac’s single, bringing home Nathan K and Tanner.

In the State Championship Game Osseo Maple Grove Storm falls 9-1 at the hands of Central Wisconsin Impact 12U

Central Wisconsin Impact 12U beat Osseo Maple Grove Storm on Sunday 9-1 in five innings.

Central Wisconsin Impact 12U scored four runs in the fifth on Central Wisconsin Impact 12U scored in the fifth on a two-run single by Brock Warren, a two-run single by Brock, and a two-run double by Tyler Beyer.

The Championship puts the Impact at 14-4-1 on the 2015 season. The teams will next head down to Iowa to compete in the USSSA Field of Dream tournament starting on July 3rd. The team will open up against the Dubuque Gold followed by Dural (Miami, FL) in pool play.
